Kunming is one of the best places in China, if not the world for golf, being blessed with superb location and pleasant weather conditions year round.
The city is located at longitude 102°10’ to 103°40’ east and latitude 24°23’ to 26°22’ north, at an altitude of 1,891 meters. As such it enjoys a low latitude highland monsoon climate. As result, Kunming enjoys ample sunlight due to the long daylight hours and has a shorter frost period.
The average temperature in Kunming is 16°C, with neither hot summers nor extremely cold winters. These excellent climate conditions have won for Kunming the accolade of “Spring City” where golfers can enjoy their games all year round.
