The authoritative American golf media, Golf Digest, has officially released its 2022-2023 rankings for the World's Top 100 Golf Courses. The Lakeview Course at Spring City Golf & Lake Resort has secured the 77th position globally, receiving a score of 7.325 from the judges—an impressive leap of 9 places from its previous ranking of 86th.
Courses from 25 different countries have distinguished themselves in this year's rankings, with contributions from 350 panel members outside the United States providing a genuinely international perspective. The United Kingdom and Ireland, the birthplaces of golf, led the pack, with Scotland boasting 17 courses and England 13. Strong showings were also made by Canada with 12 courses, Australia with 10, and New Zealand and Japan, each with 4. China, Mexico, South Africa, and South Korea were close behind.
